Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 30, 2026

How TrustEdge collects, uses, and shares personal information, and the choices you have about cookies and sale or sharing.

Introduction

This policy explains how TrustEdge (Jacobian Engineering Inc.) handles personal information collected through TrustEdge (trustedge.ai). It covers the website, forms on the website, and messages we send because you contacted us.

We wrote it in plain English so you can see what we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and how to say no. If a term below is a legal one, we say what it means in the same sentence.

For a privacy request, email [email protected]. The mailing address for privacy notices is listed at the end of this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: you give it to us, your browser sends it, and cookies store a choice on your device.

Information you give us

When you use a contact form or ask for a quote, we collect the details you type. That usually includes your name, email address, phone number, company, and what you tell us you need.

Text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, we collect your mobile number and a record of that opt-in. What we do with it is described under SMS/Text Messaging. We do not collect that information for advertising.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site we collect device and usage data, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the time of the visit.

We also use cookies and similar technologies, described under Cookies and similar technologies. Some of those cookies are optional.

Where it comes from

You are the source of form and quote details. Your browser and device are the source of usage data. If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends us the details you entered there. We do not buy consumer lists.

How We Use Information

We use personal information for these purposes:

  • To answer a question, prepare a quote, and provide a service you asked for.
  • To send a message you opted into.
  • To run, secure, and fix the website.
  • To understand how the site is used and whether it is working. Analytics runs for all visitors and is not used for advertising.
  • To measure and deliver advertising, when advertising cookies are allowed and you have not opted out.
  • To keep records we are required to keep, and to establish or defend a legal claim.

Legal bases

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising cookies. Analytics runs for all visitors so we can understand how the site is used and whether the site is working. It is not used for advertising. We rely on legitimate interests to run and protect the site, to understand inquiries, and to tell you about services that relate to a request you made. We rely on contract when we need the information to respond to you or to provide something you asked us to provide. We rely on a legal duty when a law requires us to keep or disclose information.

Where those laws do not apply, we use the information for the purposes above. You can still refuse advertising cookies and opt out of sale or sharing, as described below.

Information Sharing

We may use your information to provide and improve our services, communicate with you, and for marketing and advertising. We share it with service providers (subprocessors) that process it only on our behalf, for hosting and data storage, customer records, file storage, SMS delivery, business contact information (Apollo), website analytics (Google Analytics), and advertising (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Google Ads). Advertising providers receive information only after you allow advertising cookies, and never if you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. We also share information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or us.

SMS/Text Messaging

Mobile numbers collected for text messaging and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our service providers process them only on our behalf. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Data Security

We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to the kind of information we hold. Those safeguards include encryption in transit, access limits so only people who need the information can see it, and monitoring for abuse of the site.

No website or storage system is perfectly secure. Please use a unique password for accounts you hold with us and be cautious with unexpected messages.

Security Practices

We protect personal information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0, including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, logging and monitoring, vendor review, and incident response. Our security controls also draw on the principles of the EU Cyber Resilience Act, such as secure-by-design development and coordinated vulnerability handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to identify, protect against, detect, respond to, and recover from security risks.

Artificial Intelligence

We use AI tools to help deliver and improve our services, for example to draft content, analyze information, and support our team. We manage AI risk in line with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and the principles of the EU AI Act, including transparency, human oversight of AI-assisted work, and limits on what data goes into AI tools. Our AI providers are contractually barred from training their models on your personal information. We do not use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Advertising and measurement

The Meta Pixel and the Conversions API stay off until you allow advertising cookies, wherever you are. If advertising cookies are allowed, Meta Platforms receives information through the Meta Pixel in your browser and through the Conversions API from our server. We use both to measure and deliver ads.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag stays off until you allow advertising cookies, wherever you are. If advertising cookies are allowed, LinkedIn receives information through the LinkedIn Insight Tag in your browser. We use it to measure and deliver ads.

The TikTok Pixel stays off until you allow advertising cookies, wherever you are. If advertising cookies are allowed, TikTok receives information through the TikTok Pixel in your browser. We use it to measure and deliver ads.

The categories of information used for that measurement are page views and other events on the site, your IP address, the user agent your browser sends, the browser identifier cookie the advertising provider sets, the click identifier from the advertising link, and a hashed (SHA-256) email and phone when you submit a form. Hashing turns the address or number into a code so the advertising provider can match it without receiving the plain value from us in that field. The purpose is advertising and measuring how those ads perform. We add that click identifier to the inquiry only while advertising cookies are allowed and you have not opted out, and we delete it if you withdraw that permission, opt out of sale or sharing, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control.

This may be a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law, even though we do not exchange a mailing list for money. You can opt out with Do Not Sell or Share, with Cookie Settings, or by using a browser that sends Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor GPC. If you opt out, or if your browser sends GPC, we do not use the Meta Pixel, the Conversions API, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, or the TikTok Pixel for you, and we do not send those events.

Facebook and Instagram Lead Forms

If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the information you provide and store and use it as described in this policy, including to respond to your inquiry.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies in three categories. Analytics runs for all visitors, wherever you are, to understand how the site is used and whether the site is working. It is not used for advertising. Cookie Settings does not turn it off. You can opt out of analytics through your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Advertising cookies stay off until you allow them, wherever you are. You can change that advertising choice at any time.

Necessary

Necessary cookies run the site. They keep a page secure, remember the cookie choice you make, and let a form be submitted. They are always on, because the site does not work properly without them.

Analytics

Analytics runs for all visitors. It tells us which pages are used and whether the site is working. Google Analytics is in this category. It is not used for advertising. Cookie Settings does not turn it off. You can opt out of analytics through your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We store campaign parameters from the link that brought you here, and the address of the referring site, with the inquiry. Cookie Settings does not remove them.

Advertising

Advertising cookies measure and deliver ads, including the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and the TikTok Pixel described above. They stay off until you allow them, wherever you are. They are also off if you reject them, if you opt out of sale or sharing, or if your browser sends GPC.

Use Cookie Settings in the footer of any page to change your choice, or open Your Privacy Choices. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) as an opt-out of sale or sharing, which turns advertising cookies off.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact and newsletter forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which distinguishes real visitors from abuse by bots. It runs when a form is displayed and sends technical signals about your browser and connection to Cloudflare so it can assess the request. On some forms this check completes without anything being shown to you, so it may run without a visible prompt.

Cloudflare processes that data as described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy. Turnstile does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not receive the signals it collects. We receive only its verdict on whether a submission should be accepted.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it. That includes answering you, providing a service you asked for, meeting a legal duty, and resolving a dispute. How long that is depends on the purpose. We do not keep information on a single fixed schedule.

When the purpose is over, we delete the information or de-identify it so it no longer identifies you.

International Transfers

We are based in the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. If we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we use a safeguard such as a contract that requires the recipient to protect it.

Children's Privacy

This site and our services are meant for businesses and the people who work at them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected a child's personal information, we delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete it. You can object to certain uses and you can withdraw consent for advertising cookies. Email [email protected] to make a request. We will verify that the request comes from you, or from someone allowed to act for you.

California

If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, applies to you, you may ask to know, delete, and correct personal information. You may opt out of sale or sharing. You may ask us to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You may use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We verify the request before we complete it.

To opt out of sale or sharing, use Do Not Sell or Share. You can also send a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as that opt-out.

European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, or a portable copy, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it. You may complain to a supervisory authority. We would like the chance to help first: email the privacy address above.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed rule for how a website should respond to Do Not Track, and we do not change our practices when we receive it.

We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC). When your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of sale or sharing: advertising cookies stay off, and choosing Accept all does not turn them back on. Analytics cookies are not turned off by GPC. Cookie Settings does not turn them off either. You can opt out of analytics through your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Changes to This Policy

We will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page when we change the policy. If a change is material, we will also post a notice on the site. The version on this page is the one that applies.
